How big are your rubbish removal trucks?
How much weight can they carry?
Our robust waste removal vehicles can carry up to 3 tonnes in weight, which is the equivalent of a 14-yard skip.
Do I need to book collection in advance?
You can book a day that suits your schedule or ask our team about our same-day service if you require a swift service at short notice. Services are subject to availability and we recommend letting us know as soon as your skip is ready for collection, at which point we will arrange it for the next best available slot.
Will I need a permit?
No, permits are not required for this service. We turn up, clear your waste fast and efficiently and then we’re gone!
Are you properly licensed?
We’ve been in business for over 25 years, are fully insured and are also a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on how much you’d like cleared. We charge different prices for different amounts so you only pay for what we take. Get in touch today to discuss your requirements.
Do I have to load the truck?
Not if you don’t want to. Our hardworking team can take care of removing all your unwanted waste whilst you sit back and relax.
Skip Hire FAQs
What are your skip sizes?
We have multiple sizes of skips – 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 cubic yards. Please visit our skip sizes page for more information.
What can't I put in my skip?
We’re fully licensed to collect virtually all waste, however, there are a few restrictions when it comes to hazardous waste, such as asbestos. Not sure if we can take the waste you need us to collect? Just give our team a call first to check and we’ll be happy to clarify before you book.
Heavier Waste: We also have limitations on the types of items that are suitable for each size e.g. our larger 12-yard skips can’t be filled up with clay, soil and other heavier items.
Will I need a skip permit?
This depends on where you plan to keep your skip. A skip placed on a public highway will need a permit from the local borough council. If, on the other hand, the skip will be on your own private land, such as in your driveway or garden, you will not require a permit. Our team is able to help arrange a skip permit for you, but please let us know where your skip will be placed when booking.
How high can I fill my skip?
We ask that you don’t fill your skip above its actual height. If it’s not kept level with the top, we may not be able to take it away unless some items are removed.
Will my skip need to be lit at night?
It’s important that your skip (if on a public highway) isn’t a danger to the public or other road users. Please contact us to find out how to keep your skip legally compliant at night.
What does 'wait and load' mean?
If you aren’t able to keep a skip outside your premises for a long period of time, our ‘wait and load’ service is an ideal alternative. You’ll still get the same skip, but we’ll place it on the ground and wait for you to load it then and there. Once it’s full, we can remove it straight away.
No skip permit is necessary for this service and, as an estimate, this should take no more than 30 minutes from the point of arrival. In certain circumstances, our team may be able to help you load your skip to make the process quicker, but please enquire if you need assistance.
How long can I keep my skip?
As a leading London skip hire company, we like to try and stay flexible to meet your needs. Two weeks is the general skip hire term and is usually sufficient for both homeowners and commercial clients. Please let us know in advance if you think you’ll need the skip for longer or, if you have a skip but need another, ask us about skip exchanges.
